Onlincolnshire

Broadband connections are increasingly important in everyday life. The rapid growth of the internet and the dramatic rise of online services mean that a slow broadband connection or none at all can pose a serious problem.

Onlincolnshire website was set up in March 2011 with the goal of encouraging commercial suppliers to invest in next generation broadband infrastructure in Lincolnshire. To do this the Onlincolnshire Team need to identify where the main issues are, and that’s where you can help, by going to www.onlincolnshire.org and registering your interest in improving broadband connectivity in your area.

Onlincolnshire is reliant on the people of Lincolnshire to register their interest in improved broadband for their area so we can show as much demand as possible.

We also encourage communities to work together to resolve local connectivity issues. Have a look at our Case Studies page to see how other groups have come together to do just that. Our website also provides a wealth of internet related news, tips and self help guides.

We’ve set up a Forum page to encourage discussions between businesses, individuals and communities, along with suppliers of broadband. This will help us to have a better understanding of broadband issues across the county – go to www.onlincolnshire.org/forum here to have a look now.

Public Consultation: Lincolnshire County Council has secured funding for pilot developments in East Lindsey and Boston. Information is requested from broadband service providers, local businesses and residents.
