The Future Delivery of Support Services
Lincolnshire County Council’s current contract with Mouchel to deliver key support functions ends in March 2015.
The services in the current contract include IMT, Finance, People Management, Property and Catering. The Council is currently undertaking a number of activities to deliver these services in different ways from April 2015.
Corporate Support Services
The Council has signed the Corporate Support Services Contract with Serco. This contract will include IMT, Finance and People Management, the CSC and aspects of Business Support that support these services.
The pre-qualification stage of our property procurement has been completed. Six companies will be invited to submit a final tender. For more information please refer to the press release in the downloads section.
Please note, the Council has decided to explore the option of partnering with another Local Government Pension Fund to provide our Pensions Administration Service when our current contract comes to an end in March 2015. This option is being pursued in preference to running a tendering exercise. The three shortlisted funds who have been invited to submit a ‘request for proposal’ are East Riding Pension Fund, West Yorkshire Pension Fund and Staffordshire Pension Fund.
Health & Safety
The Council has also decided to insource its Health and Safety Service when the current contract comes to an end in March 2015. Following a detailed evaluation this option is also being pursued in preference to running a tendering exercise.
