Trading Standards promote and maintain a disease free and humanely treated farm livestock in Lincolnshire.
We also carry out many animal health activities as listed below:
- Rabies control including illegal imports
- Notifiable diseases
- Transport of animals
- Records of movements
- Identifications of animals
- Market/sales
- Welfare issues
Livestock Markets
Trading Standards monitors the well-being of farm animals in transit and at markets and regularly attends local markets throughout the county to ensure that animals are treated humanely.
Performing Animals
Any person wishing to exhibit or train a performing animal must be registered with the Local Authority. Please complete the attached form (see Downloads).
