Health and Safety Manual
This Manual is provided to help managers and employees achieve this objective by providing core minimum advice and standards on a range of health and safety issues relevant to the County Council as a whole. It also shows where further advice and guidance can be obtained. In some cases Directorates will have their own service specific information that builds on the minimum standards set out in this Manual.
Lincolnshire County Council’s general policy is to prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill health by:
- eliminating hazards from work activities where possible
- where not, assessing and ensuring adequate control of the associated risks
