There are 77 elected members of Lincolnshire County Council and each one of them is dedicated to providing a wide range of services to the whole of their constituency.
The council is made up of:
- Conservative 36
- UK Independence Party 16
- Labour 12
- Lincolnshire Independents 8
- Liberal Democrat 3
- Independents 2
They also deal with issues and problems brought to them by their constituents and so are an important part of that community.

Chairman of the Council
On Friday 17 May, Cllr Ray Wootten became the 28th chairman of the county council.
