Your county councillor
There are 77 elected members of Lincolnshire County Council and each one of them is dedicated to providing a wide range of services to the whole of their constituency.
The council is made up of:
- Conservative 35
- Labour 12
- UK Independence Party 10
- Lincolnshire Independents 7
- UKIP Lincolnshire 6
- Liberal Democrat 4
- Independents 3
They also deal with issues and problems brought to them by their constituents and so are an important part of that community.

On Friday 17 May, Cllr Ray Wootten became the 28th chairman of the county council.

Cllr Martin Hill was elected leader of Lincolnshire County Council in 2005.
All elected councillors serving on Lincolnshire County Council are paid allowances every year.
Councillors are elected by the community to decide how the council should carry out its various activities.
