Finances

In 2012/13, Lincolnshire County Council will spend £1050 million on providing public services in Lincolnshire. The Council will also invest £195 million in the county’s infrastructure including roads and schools.

The Council’s Financial Strategy sets out how the Council manages its financial affairs (see Budgets & Financial Strategy below).

The Key Financial Facts leaflet gives a brief summary of the Council’s spending and sources of income, together with a summary of its financial health and performance (see Budgets & Financial Strategy below).

More detailed information is contained in the Council Budget 2012/13 to 2014/15 (see Budgets & Financial Strategy below).

At the end of the financial year, the Council prepare the Statement of Accounts.  The Statement of Accounts for 2010/11 are available here.  The comments of the Council’s external auditors - the Audit Commission - are contained in the Annual Governance Report (see Statement of Accounts below).
