Council Services:

Lincolnshire Children’s Centres

Lincolnshire has 48 Children’s Centres, which are places where families with children aged 0-5 can receive a range of services, depending on the needs of the community.

This includes:

  • appropriate support and outreach services to those parents/carers and children who are identified as needing them
  • information and advice to parents/carers on a range of subjects, including:
    - local childcare
    - looking after babies and young children
    - local early years provision
    - activities and education services for 3 and 4 year olds
  • support to childminders
  • drop-in sessions and other activities for children and carers at the centre, including training courses and parenting support
  • links to Jobcentre Plus services and other partners.

Some Children’s Centres also offer early years childcare for children under 5, and some have sensory rooms for children with disabilities and additional needs.
