Council Services:

Residential Homes for Children

Sometimes children can't live at home with their families and there are no relatives or friends who can look after them. When this happens we try to find the right kind of living arrangements for the child.

This is usually with a foster family, but can sometimes be a residential home. All homes or residential units where children are placed are inspected to ensure that high standards are met.

More information on offering a home to a child is available at the Fostering or Adoption sections of the website.
