The 4All Database
Lincolnshire County Council Customer Service Centre manages the Children Act Register on behalf of Children’s Services. The Register helps Lincolnshire County Council to gather information about children and young people with special needs.
The 4All Database for children and young people with disabilities and additional needs is based within the Family Information Service. The Database helps Lincolnshire County Council to gather information about children and young people with special needs.
The 4All Database is a confidential computer record of disabled children and young people who live in Lincolnshire. It is voluntary - you do not have to join - but if you do you will be making an important contribution to the development of services for disabled children, young people and their families.
The Database is used to help plan and monitor services for disabled children and young people or those with special needs. Young people’s information remains in the Register until they’re 25 years old. Personal information is never shared or made public.
When a child is registered they will receive an information pack about services offered by voluntary agencies as well as information about Social Care, Education and Health.
Working with Short Breaks, the 4all newsletter is produced 3 times a year and sent automatically to all those who are on the register, as well as a targeted mailings to schools and special schools, GP surgeries, health clinics and other key locations.
The 4All Database can give a voice to parents, carers, children and young people about the development of future services.
If you wish to find out more about the services the Family Information Service can offer, or you wish to register your child on the 4All Database please complete the 4All enquiry form. One of the FIS team will call you back to explain more about the new service, and the 4All Database. Alternatively, call the Family Information Service on 0800 195 1635.
You can also complete an on-line short enquiry form and someone will contact you to discuss registering in more detail.
If you would like to tell us about the information you would like to see on the new website or what you would like to be included in future newsletters we would also like to hear from you.
