Council Services:

If you do not live in Lincolnshire

If you live in England you must apply through your home Local Authority, you can name Lincolnshire schools on this application.

If you are Service Personnel, live abroad or live in Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales the following rules apply:

UK Service Personnel and other Crown Servants

If you are being posted to Lincolnshire, or your posting abroad has come to an end, and you would like to apply for a school place you will have to provide evidence of your relocation. This can either be an official MOD, FCO or GCHQ letter declaring a relocation date. In the absence of a new home postal address a Unit postal address can be accepted.

For midyear applications, a school place can be reserved for a maximum of six school weeks.

Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales

If you do not live in England but live in Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales you will be able to apply on a Lincolnshire application. This is because these countries are part of the United Kingdom, but do not coordinate their admissions in the same way England do. On your application you will need to state your current address.

Living outside the United Kingdom

If you live outside the United Kingdom, and are not UK Service Personnel you will not be able to apply for a school place through Lincolnshire until you are resident in county. If you are moving to another county you will need to check with the Local Authority for that area.
