Welcome to the School Services Transport Webpage
We are the team who assess the eligibility of students for Home to School/College Transport. This means looking at each application to see if it meets the Home to School and College Transport Policy requirements. We are based at County Offices, Lincoln.
We are responsible for applications for:
- Home to School Transport (schools, academies and 6th form)
- Home to School Transport (on the grounds of income)
- Home to College Transport
- Post 16 Special Educational Needs Transport
Transportation Group are a separate team based at City Hall and are the team who are responsible for transport arrangements including mainstream schools/academies, Special Educational Needs transport, sixth form and college transport.

The Transport policy statement for learners aged 16-18 in further education (attending schools, colleges and centres offering courses funded by the Education Funding Agency - EFA) is available via the downloads tab or through the link below.
The Transportation Group of Lincolnshire County Council are responsible for the procurement and administration of Home to School\College Transport on behalf of Children’s Services and Adult Care.
Each year the Transportation Group undertakes satisfaction surveys with those either receiving or providing Home to School\College Transport. The 2013/2014 survey is aimed at pupils, both Mainstream and Additional Needs, and their parents.
The satisfaction survey is open to all pupils and parents and is available until Friday 18 April 2014.
