Notes:
These faithfully restored buildings now house a small but comprehensive railway museum. There are artefacts relating to the Great Northern Railway, London and North Eastern Railway and many other railway companies. The Museum is staffed entirely by enthusiastic volunteers and it focuses on all aspects of railway life with a model railway in 'OO' gauge. Groups and education visits also catered for.
Directions:
Situated on the platform of Heckington Railway Station.
Times:
Easter to end September (Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays) 12noon to 5pm. Other times by appointment.
Admission:
Admission: Adults 50p, Children free.
Access:
Full access. W.C. available to visitors to the Museum.
