Physical and Sensory Impairment Partnership Board
This Board brings together third sector organisations and individuals with disabilities supporting the many disability groups around the county.
Its vision is for a barrier-free and inclusive Lincolnshire supporting independent living and personalised services for people with physical disabilities and sensory impairments.
Representatives help identify issues, and influence both new and existing services and strategies. The Board aims to extend the influence of disabled people with lived experience of disability in terms of decision-making more generally across the county and offers a source of expertise and advice on issues relating to disability. It has produced a Communications Toolkit for businesses and organisations seeking to improve their customer service for people with a sensory impairment.
