Council Services:

Helping to Shape Services

Getting Involved

There are lots of opportunities for you to become involved as an equal partner in shaping the carers agenda locally. For example, being part of the Lincolnshire Carers Partnership - designing the support carers want, developing newsletters and information for carers, choosing staff, choosing support services, monitoring those support services etc.

There are also different ways to get involved - in person, being a virtual member, via video or telephone conferencing, or giving your views via letter, e-mail or website. You choose what suits you best or let us know other ways that we can help you to be involved. Whichever option you choose your views are valued and do make a difference to shaping support for carers in Lincolnshire.

Within the Partnership structure there are a number of carers working groups concentrating on different areas of carer support. These groups will feed back to the overarching partnerships. Carers can opt to join any of the group/s on the partnership giving them the opportunity to contribute to decisions made and services developed.
