Council Services:

Research and Copies

Staff give free advice on the availability of archival and printed sources available at Lincolnshire Archives. Where relevant, staff will point you in the direction of relevant material held elsewhere.

If your enquiry is detailed, please e-mail or write to the Archives, rather than telephoning so that we can spend longer considering the response. Your written enquiry can also be directed to the appropriate staff member if necessary.

Staff are not able to look up information contained within the original documents free of charge. You are, however, welcome to visit the search room to look for the information yourself, or you may consider employing Lincolnshire Archives or a private record agent to do a paid search.
