Council Services:

Discover Libraries

We have a network of libraries and mobile libraries across the county. Anyone can visit the library to browse, read a newspaper, use a computer, do homework, borrow books, ask for information and much more.

The address of Lincolnshire’s online library catalogue is https://lincolnshire.spydus.co.uk.

The online catalogue has been updated to illustrate the type of online resources available, including the Encyclopaedia Britannia, driving theory test resources and access to e-books (for use on most devices other than the Kindle).

New users can join online and have and immediate access to online resources. Existing users will be able to update contact details online.

There is also a new product available called ‘Sorcer’. Sorcer allows more access to Lincolnshire’s Library catalogue. The more you use Sorcer, the more it will be able to offer suggestions for books and DVDs you might enjoy. We are continuing to work on further enhancements, including access to e-magazines and mobile apps.

IMPORTANT NOTICE OF CHANGES TO LIBRARY LOAN RENEWAL LIMITS

From 1st July 2013 the maximum number of times a book or an item can be renewed will be reduced to 6.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
