Council Services:

Library membership and PIN number

Did you know you’re already a library member?

You no longer need identification to join the library to borrow books or use the library computers. Call into your local library to collect your free library membership card and Personal Identification Number (PIN).

However if you wish to borrow any DVDs/ CDs or Blu-rays (where stocked) then we do require proof of name and address and a signature will be required

Once you have your card and PIN you can then join the library online, which allows you to renew and reserve items conveniently online. Follow this link to go to the online catalogue and select the ‘Join the library’ option in the box on the left hand side of the page.

Universal Membership

Your library membership card gives you wider and easier access to the nation’s libraries.  Present your card to other libraries across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to join other public libraries.  (Conditions may apply).

If you are a resident from another county you can obtain full access to Lincolnshire’s library service on the production of your library card.  We will issue you with a Lincolnshire library membership card to use at our libraries.

Children and young people are classed as adults at aged 16 and over. For overdue items and reservations children and young people will be charged.
