As the local Highway Authority, the county council is responsible for planning and implementing a range of schemes aimed at improving conditions for motorists, public transport users, cyclist and pedestrians, as well as supporting industry across the county.

A section of the A158 and B1202 at Wragby will be rebuilt and given a new surface. Works will begin on 28 April and are due to be complete by mid-July 2014.
This scheme, to improve the remainder of Whisby Road between Doddington Road and the new Teal Park Development, has now started on site. The works started on site on 7 October 2013 and construction will take approximately 12 months.
