Council Services:

Lincoln East West Link Road Consultation

Lincolnshire County Council is working in partnership with the City of Lincoln, North Kesteven District and West Lindsey District Councils to deliver a project called the Lincoln East West Link road.

We consulted the public and stakeholders on this project in July 2010, and following very positive feedback have progressed the scheme to a planning application in January 2012.

The East West Link full planning application  and associated Environmental Statement  reference PL/0043/12 can be viewed  and comments made on the application on Lincolnshire County Council's planning portal here.

The  full  Conservation Area Consent application  for demolition reference PL/0028/12 can be viewed  and comments made on Lincolnshire County Council's planning portal here.

In addition there are two fly-through models showing the East West Link route from the High Street to Pelham Bridge, and from Pelham Bridge to the High Street. These can be viewed by clicking on the links below.

The following documents are available from the download page:

  • East West Link Phase 1 Scheme Plan
  • East West Link walking and cycling plan
  • East West Link visualisations
  • East West Link and cathedral visualisation
  • Visualisation of the replacement building forming the corner of Tentercroft Street and High Street
