What is the Local Development Scheme (LDS)?

Lincolnshire County Council has revised Lincolnshire's Local Development Scheme (LDS). It is resolved that the Local Development Scheme shall have effect from March 2010. Its purpose is to set out proposals for the next three years for Lincolnshire's Minerals and Waste Development Framework (MWDF).

What is outlined in the document?

This document explains the new system of Local Development Frameworks (LDFs) that replaces Local Plans.  It also sets out proposals for Lincolnshire's Minerals and Waste Development Framework beyond 2012, including the proposed documents, timetable and key milestones.  In addition this document explains how progress on the MWDF will be monitored and how the LDS will be reviewed and updated.
