Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Board

The LSCB has been established in accordance with "Working Together to Safeguard Children" (Department of Health, 1999). Its purpose is to promote good working practices that safeguard children and promote their welfare.

It is responsible for co-ordinating the activities of all agencies concerned with the protection of children, developing and agreeing local policies and procedures, assuring the quality of child protective services and raising awareness in the wider community of the need to safeguard children.
