A-Z of Council Services:

Lincolnshire Social Services offer a range of services for people aged 65 and over.

We aim to offer advice and practical help so that older people can continue to live safely and independently in their own homes for as long as possible.

Sometimes living at home is no longer practical and going into a residential or nursing home may be the only way forward. Such a move would only take place when all other options have been pursued and exhausted.

More information on our services for Older People is available in our leaflet A Guide to Services for Older People, available from any Social Services office or here on our website.

Extra Care Strategy

Please find the latest version of the strategy, which gives the framework and intentions for the development and delivery of extra care housing in Lincolnshire.  The document will be officially signed off at the end of August 2009 when the finalised strategy will be published.
