Road Maintenance and Reporting

Lincolnshire County Council has a statutory duty to maintain adopted roads and paths (the highway) within the county.

This includes grass verges, potholes and footpaths as well as winter salting of roads in Lincolnshire.

Clean and Clear Roads

An information leaflet on what to do about mud on the road and overhanging vegetation is available under ‘downloads’.

To report a problem with Permanent Traffic Signals and Pedestrian Crossings.

To report problems with street lights or illuminated signs on the highway (not traffic signals)

To report high priority defects, e.g. potholes, debris, flooding, road signage, obstructed roads.
