The Collection

Welcome to The Collection

Play at The Collection is a new activity centre for younger visitors to play and learn. Bright and engaging there's something for all younger children including toddlers, and a safe play space for babies. Whether it's dressing up as a princess, a knight or even a dragon and then entering the Step Into a Portrait picture frame, or creating a work of art that might even make it onto the masterpiece wall, PLAY will inspire and delight your children in equal measure.

Eat at The Collection where the improvements to the cafe are striking and Lincoln's premier coffee people, Stokes, are now in residence in a much lighter and brighter cafe where you can relax whilst enjoying the finest in food and drink.

New at The Collection is the exhibition space in the open hall at the centre of the museum that will feature a changing exhibition of artefacts previously not seen in the museum. The first displays showcase an amazing array of arms and armour including a 16th Century suit of German armour and Samurai swords. The new displays also feature some beautiful fossils.

Whether your child likes dressing as a princess or you like looking at armour from days gone by, the new improvements at the museum are bound to impress and you can plan your next visit over a cup of Lincoln's finest brew.
