  • books and pamphlets - a large collection of publications covering the history of Grantham and its surrounding area. Notable subjects and titles include: Isaac Newton, Margaret Thatcher, Trigge Library Index, Grantham Canal and local industry including Ruston and Hornsby's, Marcos and Barford, Grantham in the News 1851 to 1974, WWI and WWII including Belton Park and the Walter Lee diaries
  • directories - titles such as Kellys and Whites covering a variety of years from the 1890s to the 1950s. Palmer's, Needham and Harrison's Almanacs and The Grantham Red Book 1878 to 1899
  • newspapers on microfilm:
    • The Grantham Journal 1854 to date (incomplete)
    • Grantham Guardian 1945 to 1950
    • Stamford Mercury 1714 to 1900 and Ancaster Journal Extra July 1993 to May 2000
