Funeral advice and support

When someone passes away, particularly when their death is unexpected, it can be very emotionally challenging.

We understand that ritual and tradition are very important for the wellbeing of those survived by the loved one.

However during these challenging times and to limit the spread of Covid19, there will likely be some changes to what we have come to expect as the normal funeral process.

Funeral directors and venues will be adapting their funeral arrangements in line with government advice whilst still maintaining formality and a respectful service to your loved one.

Please discuss the options available with your chosen funeral provider whilst bearing in mind that the arrangements may be subject to change at short notice.

Changes in council working practices due to COVID-19 has also led to changes in death registrations which you should be aware of.

There are a number of organisations who can support you and your family during this time, including Cruse Bereavement Care (0808 808 1677) and The Compassionate Friends (0345 123 2304).

Please accept our deepest sympathies for the loss of your loved one, and please be assured that we will do everything we can to ensure a dignified and respectful funeral.
