To apply for a birth, death, marriage or civil partnership certificate, the event must have taken place in Lincolnshire.
For other locations (including North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire), you must apply to the correct district or the General Register Office.

What you need to apply
- birth certificate - full name of person, date of birth, place of birth (address or hospital name) and one or both parent's names
- death certificate - the deceased's name, date of death and place of death
- marriage or civil partnership certificate - full name of each partner, date of the event, specific place of marriage or civil partnership (such as venue or church)
Standard certificates cost £11 and can be ordered online or by phone. They will be posted to you second class within five working days.
Priority certificates cost £35 and can be ordered online or by phone. Orders received before 4pm will be dispatched the next working day, Monday to Thursday.
International orders will be delivered in line with international postage timescales.
