We are the Petroleum Enforcement Authority for Lincolnshire.
By law, you must have a licence if you store more than 275 litres of petrol.
We can issue or renew a license for up to three years. It is not transferable.
When to tell us about storing petrol
By law, you must notify us in writing, if you store between 30 and 275 litres of petrol.
You must provide your name and address of the property where it is being stored.
You must confirm you are following the petrol storage guidance from the Health and Safety Executive.

After you apply we will respond within 5 working days.
You can store up to 30 litres of fuel at home without telling us. You must still follow the petrol storage guidance from the Health and Safety Executive.
