Open Market Review 2018

The Onlincolnshire team has launched an open market review of broadband services across the county.

The aim is to establish the current broadband coverage of the various providers and find out more about their plans for the future.

Steve Brookes, onlincolnshire programme manager, said: “We’ve already invested around £40m in broadband improvements, and are currently working on a second phase that will take superfast coverage to 97 per cent by the end of December 2019.

“We’re now looking ahead to the future, and the information we receive through the open market review will give us a better idea of what needs to be done and the level of funding required to do it.”

Any internet service provider interested in taking part in the open market review can find further details on the Onlincolnshire website.
