This e-learning is aimed at all professionals who come into contact or work with children and young people.

Outcomes

Learning outcomes are:

  • list the warning signs that might suggest self-harm or suicidal thoughts in young people
  • explain what you should do if you suspect self-harm
  • outline the risk factors and possible causes of self-harm and suicidal thoughts in children and young people
Service Description

This e-learning is aimed at all professionals who come into contact or work with children and young people.

Availability

Training is a via e learning approximately 120 minutes, but can be undertaken in stages

Benefits

This course aims to educate learners about the warning signs, risk factors and actions to take should they suspect a child or young person is self-harming.

Cost

Free for maintained schools. All others £25 plus £5 VAT.
