I can confirm that some of the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.
1. 10606, 17142 and 17498 for the calendar years referred to. It is worth noting that less than 20% of the potholes we repair are raised by the public and reported to us. The majority are raised by our own inspections.2. Lincolnshire County Council is unable to answer this query as we don’t hold detailed size data for each pothole and certainly not in one dimension given the irregular shape of potholes.
3. 17, 12, 14 working days for each of the identified years. Again, it is worth noting this data is across the categories of repair timescales which is based upon the road classification and stated in Lincolnshire County Council's Highways Infrastructure Asset Management Plan available on the website.
4. Costs are not split down to individual pothole level but rather cover the whole of the reactive service which includes all works requiring a time based response as defined in the HIAMP. For the last 3 financial years these figures have been £4.5m, £6.5m and £7.5m.
5. Since the current Term Maintenance Contract started in 2020, the total number reported from the public is 70920 which equates to less than 20% of the number of potholes repaired. Pothole data is available prior to this but was recorded via a different method and so cannot be compared.
6. 2022 – £127,108.32
2023 - £71,177.77
2024 - £34,857.61
