Adult Care day opportunities service

The Adult Care day opportunities service supports vulnerable people to live life to the full.

We are looking for volunteers who have a passion for life and making a difference.

We might be the team if you have a sense of adventure, a positive outlook on life, and time to offer.

We support people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, brain injuries and older people to:

  • make friends
  • develop relationships
  • take part in various interests and activities such as:
    • woodwork skills
    • baking/Cookery
    • gardening and horticulture
    • simple DIY
    • independent living skills
    • volunteering in their local community
    • craft projects
    • micro enterprise ideas
    • coffee mornings
    • fund raising

These activities are a great way to improve wellbeing. It is a chance for the people we support to meet others and get out of the house for a few hours.

To socialise and enjoy life. The people we support have personalised activity plans which reflect their interests.

Come and be part of our fantastic team and support people in ‘Living Life to the Full’. We will give full training and support to all volunteers.
