Absence Management

  • Outlines responsibilities and formal processes for managing short-term and long-term sickness absence.

When a member of staff is absent due to sickness the absence must be recorded using the sickness absence e-form.

The E-Form can be found on the Corporate section of George.  This should be entered (directly by the line manager if you have access, or via business support if applicable) on the first day of a employee’s sickness.  The end date of sickness can be added later, when the employee returns to work.
