Council Services:

LAS Conference 23rd March 2017

There was a fantastic turnout at the conference this year, which had some very inspirational and informative speeches.

The event provided a platform to launch the information hub website that LAS has been working quite closely with LAPB on. There was speeches from Sheridan Dodsworth from Children’s Services around SEND. Anne-Marie Gregory gave us a fantastic overview of Autism Data in Lincolnshire and Vicky Turner from Working Together Team gave us an informative insight into ‘The Next Step’s in educational transition.

There was also representation from a couple of schools including Sir Robert Pattinson, University Techonology College and Gosberton House, who told us all about the support they provide to their pupils while they are at school.

Elizabeth Elvidge who is the Chair of LAS ended the day with quite an emotional and inspirational speech about her own journey as a parent of two children who have Autism. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house.

It was a great day and a definite success!
