About us

Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership (LRSP) was formed in June 2000 in order to reduce the number of people killed and injured on the county’s roads.

In March 2006, Lincolnshire was one of only six authorities in the country to be selected as a Beacon Council for its work in promoting road safety and reducing the number of collisions.

Central government allows the partnership to reclaim the cost of delivering its speed camera operations out of the fines paid into the courts by offenders.

Money returned to the partnership is only used to meet the costs of operating the cameras and related educational and administrative activities. Any excess funds remain with the Treasury.

Our partners

LRSP is a unique multi-agency partnership which brings together road safety professionals:

  • Lincolnshire Police
  • Police and Crime Commissioner for Lincolnshire
  • Lincolnshire County Council
  • Highways England
  • Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue
  • East Midlands Ambulance Service

The LRSP has an excellent record of achievement and remains committed to improving its service and reducing casualties in Lincolnshire.

Information on the partnership’s objectives is available to download below.
