There are 77 elected members of Lincolnshire County Council and each one of them is dedicated to providing a wide range of services to the whole of their constituency.
The council is made up of:

They also deal with issues and problems brought to them by their constituents and so are an important part of that community.

County Councillor Martin Trollope-Bellew was elected the new Chairman for Lincolnshire County Council on 20 May, with Councillor Andrew Hagues elected as his deputy.
An electoral register is a list of names of those people who are entitled to vote.
Cllr Martin Hill was elected leader of Lincolnshire County Council in 2005.
All elected councillors serving on Lincolnshire County Council are paid allowances every year.
