Council Services:

New electoral divisions for 2017

On 16 August 2016 the Local Government Boundary Commission for England published its final recommendations for Lincolnshire County Council regarding future electoral arrangements.

The recommendations proposed 70 new electoral divisions for Lincolnshire which would represent a reduction of seven from the current 77 electoral divisions. The Order in relation to these recommendations was laid before Parliament on 25 October 2016 and was made on 19 December 2016. The new arrangements will therefore come into force at the next County Council election on 4 May 2017.

If you would like to find out more about this review then please go to the Local Government Boundary Commission for England website;
