Council Services:

Mobile library service

Lincolnshire Libraries provide a wide range of books, information, talking books and DVDs to rural communities across the County through the District, Access and Community Mobile Libraries.

District Mobile Library

The District Mobile Library is a public access mobile library visiting rural communities throughout Lincolnshire. We currently operate 3 large vehicles, visiting 233 different locations on a four weekly timetable.

You can use the mobile library just like your local static library. We have a range of popular fiction and non-fiction titles to choose from as well as novels in large print, talking books and DVDs. If a particular item is not on the shelf then our helpful staff can reserve it from another library for you to collect at future visits. You can also return items borrowed from the mobile library to any other library location in Lincolnshire

For information on district mobile library stops please refer to the timetables on the Discover Libraries website.

Access Mobile Library

Our Access Mobile service is available to anyone who cannot reach a static library due to location, health or mobility issues.

We operate a four weekly rota where staff will deliver items right to your door, offering a friendly tailored service to suit your needs.

Community Mobile Library

Our Community Mobile Library delivers hand picked collections of books to residential care homes, sheltered housing organisations and primary schools across Lincolnshire. Collections are regularly refreshed and can be tailored to suit the needs and interests of residents and pupils.

For more information about any of our mobile library services please call the Customer Service Centre on 01522 782010.
