A 24-hour road closure will be in place

The improvements, which started on Wednesday 11 October, will be carried out over the course of six days  between the hours of 7am and 8pm, Monday to Friday, subject to reasonable weather conditions.

As part of the improvements, a full 24-hour road closure will be in place from 7am on Wednesday 11 October to  8pm on Wednesday 18 October.

The diversion route for the closure will be north on B1225 to Burgh on Bain and A157; west on the A157 to Wragby and the A158; and east on the A158 to Baumber and the B1225 junction and vice versa.

A highways spokesperson said:

“We intend to do everything we can to minimise disruption throughout these planned improvements, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. We are also encouraging motorists to allow additional time for their journeys and to use an alternative route where possible.”
