Save towards summer with Lincolnshire Energy Switch Scheme

4 April 2017

Switch with the Lincolnshire Energy Switch Scheme and you may save money

Switch your supplier of gas and electricity with the Lincolnshire Energy Switch Scheme and you could potentially save money towards your summer plans!

Energy bills might be the last thing on your mind as the light nights and warmer weather arrives but this is an ideal time to register and potentially save hundreds of pounds for the months ahead.

It is easy to register at or by calling 0800 048 8439 from today (Tuesday) and all you need is a recent gas or electricity bill which shows your current tariff and your energy consumption.

Once households across the county have registered their interest, the energy suppliers will be invited to compete with their best offers and then there’s no obligation to take up the winning supplier’s tariff offer.

All can register, whether you rent your home or own it, whether you are on dual fuel, electric only, pay monthly or quarterly or have a prepayment meter.

The scheme is organised by Lincolnshire County Council, South Kesteven District Council, West Lindsey District Council, East Lindsey District Council, North Kesteven District Council, Lincoln City Council and administered by the UK’s leading collective switching expert, iChoosr Ltd.

Lead officer for the councils Karen Lond said: “Summer is not far away but energy prices are still rising so why not make sure you have as much in your pocket as possible for your plans in the coming months?

“There’s huge potential savings on your gas and electricity energy bills and it’s such a straight forward process to register. There’s nothing to lose with no obligation to accept the winning provider’s price so get on board today.”
