Workshops to inspire young artists at The Usher Gallery
16 April 2018Creative youngsters are being invited to show their arty side in a new series of workshops taking place at The Usher Gallery over the next few months.
Children aged 7-12 can build on their art skills and creativity in sessions taking place on the last Saturday of each month, with themes focusing on current exhibitions in the gallery and local and national events such as RAF 100 and the Lincoln Steampunk Festival.
Paul Mason, visitor experience manager, says:
“The workshops are a great chance for young people to show off their creative talents and try their hand at a number of different art techniques.
“From sculpture making, creating clothing and designing flags to photography and animation, there is something for everyone to get involved in!”
Sessions cost £8 and run from 10am - 12pm, with dates on:

- 26 May - Flags!!
- 30 June - Make Do And Mend
- 28 July - Evidence in Camera Exhibition
- 25 August - Steampunk Activity
- 29 September - Kineograph
- 27 October - Big Draw Special
- 24 November - Rangoli
