Billinghay Children's Centre

We offer you a warm welcome in a friendly and busy centre based in the rural village of Billinghay.

There is parking available for centre users at the rear of the building with one disabled parking space.

A monthly programme of varied activities is available and is suitable for ages 0 - 5 years. We provide additional activities during the school holidays and these are open to children up to the age of 8.

Monday

10:00 - 11:00 Learning Together Toddlers

Learning together toddler offers a variety of activities including messy play, talk time and songs and stories to support children’s development, by building their confidence as they learn to explore. 18 months and upwards.

13:00 - 14:00 Little Explorers

A sensory and messy play session providing Materials of differing textures, temperatures and consistencies for children to explore, supporting their development and growing confidence. 0-5 years.

Tuesday

09:30 - 10:30 Learning Through Play

This drop in session provides a variety of activities for children to explore supporting children’s changing needs and interests, the session offers an opportunity for parents, carers and children to discover and explore a wide range of play activities together, encouraging children’s independence, confidence and social skills. 0-5 years.

11:00 - 12:00 Keepsakes

Invitation Only
This is an invitation only session to introduce new families to the children’s centre the session will run over 6 weeks. The group will offer an opportunity for families to make a variety of ‘keepsake’ items with their children such as hand and foot prints and learning journeys which can be taken home.

13:30 - 14:30 Learning Together Babies

Learning together babies offers a variety of activities including messy play, talk time and songs and stories to support babies’ early development, by building their confidence as they learn to explore. For babies not yet walking.

9:00 - 11:00 Breast Feeding Support

09:00 - 11:00 NHS led TOP TIPS at 3 - 4 months

Group session offering advice on a wide range of health related topics - booking essential. Please call the Children Centre on 01526 869248 to book your place

Thursday

09:30 - 11:30 Childminders Hub

Childminders must be Ofsted Registered
The drop-in aims to provide a relaxed and welcoming environment for Childminders and their minded children. Any new parent / expectant parents are welcome, who may be looking at childcare.

10:00 - 11:00 Ben Play

RAF Digby
For military families with children 0-5 years old. Come along and stay and play.

13:00 - 13:45 Rhyme Time

A song and rhyme session focusing on supporting children’s early communication skills. During the session children will have the opportunity to sing along to their favourite songs and rhymes using a variety of props and resources. 0-5 years.

13:00 - 14:00 Bumps to Babies

A session for pregnant and new parents, and their babies. This relaxed friendly session support both pregnant mums and new parents, the session focuses on the needs and requests of the families attending. There are lots of resources such as Treasure Baskets, cosy areas and sensory materials which will allow new babies to develop individual curiosity in a safe, secure environment. For 0-1 years
