Mablethorpe Children's Centre

Our friendly, well-resourced Centre is situated next to the Library in Mablethorpe. We share our building with Seashells Nursery.

We have a designated parking area to the side of the building which we share with the Library. 

Our Sensory Room is free to use at any time, just call the Centre to book.

Monday

10:00 - 11:00 Learning Through Play

Held at Hope House each week with the exception of 3rd week of the month when it is at Mablethorpe Children’s Centre
This drop in session provides a variety of activities for children to explore supporting children’s changing needs and interests, the session offers an opportunity for parents, carers and children to discover and explore a wide range of play activities together, encouraging children’s independence, confidence and social skills. 0-5 years.

13:30 - 14:30 Learning Together Toddlers

Learning together toddler offers a variety of activities including messy play, talk time and songs and stories to support children’s development, by building their confidence as they learn to explore.

Tuesday

09:30 - 10:30 Growing Talk 0- 5 years

Growing talk is a music and rhyme session focusing on developing children growing language skills, children will be able to sing along to their favourite songs and rhymes in this fun music session. 0 - 5 years.

13:30 - 14:30 Learning Together Babies

Learning together babies offers a variety of activities including messy play, talk time and songs and stories to support babies’ early development, by building their confidence as they learn to explore.

Wednesday 

09:30 - 10:30 Little Explorers

A sensory and messy play session providing Materials of differing textures, temperatures and consistencies for children to explore, supporting their development and growing confidence. 0-5 years.

13:30 - 14:30 Let’s Get Active!

Station Sports Centre, Mablethorpe
This is a fun active session offering a variety of activities to support children’s physical development and promote a healthy life style, during the session a variety of fun learning opportunities will be offered to support the development of children’s gross motor skills, co-ordination and teach them that being active is fun! 0-5 years.

10:00 - 11:30 Big Cook Little Cook

A chance to promote healthy lifestyles with your child in a fun way as well as cooking up affordable and nutritious food to share. All food made during the session is taken home. 18 mths - 5 yrs. Please call 01507479412

10:00 - 11:00 Early Explorers

A sensory and messy play session providing lots of fun filled opportunities each week for babies to explore using their senses giving them an opportunity to learn and explore supporting their early development.

13:00 - 14:00 Top Tips 3 - 4 Months

Booking required l 4th January
This group is for parents of 3 — 4 month old babies that will concentrate on subjects like healthy eating, accident prevention, oral health, when to start solids, potty training, immunisations, minor illnesses and how to access support and more. Self-weighing available for your baby. Please call 01507 479 412 to book.

13:30 - 14:30 Terrific Twos

Invite Only
Invitation only session for families eligible to apply for the Two Year Old Early Years Entitlement (2YO EYE). The session will be to explain to families what the 2YO EYE is and how it can benefit their child. During the session there will be a variety of activities for children to explore alongside their parent/carer.

13:30 - 14:30 Keepsakes

Invite Only
This is an invitation only session to introduce new families to the children’s centre the session will run over 6 weeks. The group will offer an opportunity for families to make a variety of ‘keepsake’ items with their children such as hand and foot prints and learning journeys which can be taken home.
