Sutton Bridge Children's Centre

We offer something for all ages, from expectant parents, babies and toddlers, right up to when little ones start school. We also hold free adult learning courses, each designed to provide additional skills and support for parents/carers, across a wide range of subjects. 

Timetable

Monday

10:00 - 11:00 Top Tips at 3-4 months

6th February
Sessions are delivered by Health Visiting team. Please book your place with local children’s centre. Session includes introducing to solids, top ten tips and safety. Bookings only

13:00 - 14:15 Big Cook Little Cook - Booking required

Children and parents can work together to prepare and cook a nutritious meal, as well as promoting a healthy lifestyle. Children will enjoy cooking alongside their parent/carer while developing their motor skills. All food cooked in the session can then be taken home. Suitable for children aged 2 years +

Tuesday

09:30 - 10:30 Learning Through Play

This drop in session provides a variety of activities for children to explore supporting children’s changing needs and interests, the session offers an opportunity for parents, carers and children to discover and explore a wide range of play activities together, encouraging children’s independence, confidence and social skills. 0-5 years.

13:00 - 13:45 Growing Talk Toddlers

14:00 - 14:30 Growing Talk Babies

Listen to your child’s talking grow as they sing along to their favourite rhymes. They will ride on a magic carpet, sprinkle magic dust and meet Mikey who is our resident puppet.

Wednesday 

13:30 - 14:30 Movers and Shakers

Movers and shakers is a fun music and movement session which supports and develops children’s communication and physical skills. The session includes using musical instruments and singing to support early language development and physical activities such as scarves, bubbles, balls and parachute games to develop co-ordination and physical awareness. 0-5 years.

09:00 - 12:00: ESCO

21st February | Drop In
An ESCO appointment provides the opportunity for parents/carers to meet with an ESCO Key Worker for a one hour session at a convenient Children’s Centre. Parents/carers can book an appointment directly with Lincolnshire Customer Services Centre 01522 782111

Thursday 

10:00 - 11:00 Little Explorers

A sensory and messy play session providing Materials of differing textures, temperatures and consistencies for children to explore, supporting their development and growing confidence. 0-5 years.

Friday

10:00 - 11:00 Learning Through Play

Terrific Two’s

For families eligible to apply for the two year funding. Please contact the Children’s Centre for more information as this is an invitation/booking only session.
