Washingborough Children's Centre

We offer something for all ages, from expectant parents, babies and toddlers, right up to when little ones start school.

We also hold free adult learning courses, each designed to provide additional skills and support for parents/carers, across a wide range of subjects.

12th and 26th February l 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
This drop in session provides a variety of activities for children to explore supporting children’s changing needs and interests, the session offers an opportunity for parents, carers and children to discover and explore a wide range of play activities together, encouraging children’s independence, confidence and social skills.

10:00 - 11:30 Childminders and Carers Hub

For childminders and the children they care for

13:00 - 14:00 Stay & Play

For children who are under one, or not yet walking this drop-in play and learning session offers a variety of activities that are based upon the likes and interests of the children attending. Giving the children attending the opportunity to develop their growing skills while having lots of fun.

Learning together toddler offers a variety of activities including messy play, talk time and songs and stories to support children’s development, by building their confidence as they learn to explore. 18 months and upwards.

13:00 - 14:00 Little Explorers

A sensory and messy play session providing Materials of differing textures, temperatures and consistencies for children to explore, supporting their development and growing confidence. 0 - 5 years.

10:00 - 10:45 Rhyme Time

A song and rhyme session focusing on supporting children’s early communication skills. During the session children will have the opportunity to sing along to their favourite songs and rhymes using a variety of props and resources. 0 - 5 years.

13:00 - 14:00 Learning Through Play
