Welton Children's Centre

We are a welcoming and friendly Centre based in the village of Welton, and located on the site of William Farr C of E School. Parking spaces for Children’s Centre families are generally available outside the Children’s Centre.

The centre has a secure outdoor play area with some shade where the children and babies can play. We encourage outdoor play, whatever the weather!

13:30 - 14:30 3-4 months Top Tips (16th April)

Helpful advice and tips on your child’s development and health (children up to 8 months old are welcome). To book a place please call 01673 862767.

Tuesday

09:15 - 11:00 Childminders Drop-in Group

Term time only
This drop-in session is for Ofsted registered Childminders and aims to provide a relaxed and welcoming environment for childminders and their minded children (Term time only).

13:30 - 14:15 Rhyme Time

A song and rhyme session focusing on supporting children’s early communication skills. During the session children will have the opportunity to sing along to their favourite songs and rhymes using a variety of props and resources (0-5 years).

Wednesday

10:00 - 11:00 Learning Together Babies

Learning together offers a variety of activities including messy play, talk time and songs and stories to support children’s development, by building their confidence as they learn to explore (babies not yet walking).

13:30 - 14:30 Little Explorers

A sensory and messy play session providing materials of differing textures, temperatures and consistencies for children to explore, supporting their development and growing confidence.

13:30 - 14:30 Terrific Twos (25th April)

This session will be run during the Little Explorers group. A session for families eligible to apply for the Two Year Old Early Years Entitlement (2YO EYE). The session will be to explain to families what the 2YO EYE is and how it can benefit their child. During the session there will be a variety of activities for children to explore alongside their parent/carer.

Thursday

9:30 - 10:30 Learning Together Toddler

Learning together offers a variety of activities including messy play, talk time and songs and stories to support children’s development, by building their confidence as they learn to explore (walking up to 3 years).

10:00 - 12:00 CAB Drop-in (19th April)

Free confidential and impartial advice on benefits, housing and other matters.

Friday

09:30 - 10:30 Learning Through Play

This drop in session provides a variety of activities for children to explore supporting children’s changing needs and interests. The session offers an opportunity for parents, carers and children to discover and explore a wide range of play activities together, encouraging children’s independence, confidence and social skills (0-5 years).

12:30 - 13:30 Baby Massage

Baby Massage sessions run by a private provider. Bookings only please call Val on 07852283381.
