Council Services:

Short Breaks for any child or young person with a disability

Lincolnshire County Council is committed to ensuring children with disabilities and/or sensory impairments can access positive experiences and families can get the support they need within their own local community.

The majority of children in Lincolnshire who require services will receive them through universal provision within their local community. The same should be true of any child with a disability. Universal provision, for example sports clubs, youth clubs, libraries and children’s centres, are really important in ensuring children and young people with disabilities have fun and enjoy themselves with friends, just like all children and young people.

Before your child attends a session provided by any service we strongly advise that you download the All About Me booklet. For further information about providers including, prices, age ranges, times and locations; please contact the providers directly.

For a list of some providers for Short Breaks please see Lincolnshire’s Local Offer Short Breaks section.
