Short Breaks Services Statement

The Lincolnshire Short Breaks Services Statement is required to demonstrate that Lincolnshire County Council has met the Government requirements for providing Short Break services under the national legislation and guidance for children and young people with disabilities and/or sensory impairments.

The Short Breaks services statement must state:

  • the range of Short Breaks services available;
  • the criteria by which eligibility for services will be assessed;
  • how the range of services is designed to meet the needs of families that have a child with a disability in their area

The statement must be:

  • published on the local authority website
  • kept under review and, where appropriate, revised
  • prepared and reviewed with regard to carers in the area

The Short Breaks team, in collaboration with parent/carers, children and young people, social care, voluntary sector and Short Break providers have created a brand new Short Breaks Services Statement for Lincolnshire 2014/15. You can download a copy on this page or contact to request a hard copy.

The following files will open in their associated programs. To view PDF files on our website Adobe Acrobat Reader 5 or above is recommended. To upgrade or for help, visit the Adobe website.
