Stay Safe Days

Year 6 multi agency days, helping them to stay safe by undertaking a number of short interactive workshops on different subjects.

Outcomes

Year 6 children receiving up to 8 short / sharp interactive sessions in various safety areas helping them stay safe.

Service Description

Delivered by a variety of providers (both LCC and non LCC), children will receive up to 8 short sessions covering topics such as: Fire Safety, Water Safety, Internet Safety, Road Safety, Rail/Level Crossing Safety, Personal Safety, Modern Day Slavery, Street First Aid etc…

The aim is that each session provides short, sharp, interactive messages enabling the children to stay safe.

Availability

Days / mornings are held in various locations across the county including Butlins (Skegness) and Waddington Training Site (Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue).

Schools need to provide member of staff with each small group.

Current days on Offer are Tuesday 28th February, Wednesday 1st March and Thursday 2nd March 2017.

Benefits

Hands on, practical sessions for year 6’s to gain knowledge and understanding across many different areas. ‘Junior Eyes’ booklet can then be used back in the classroom to reinforce the messages.

Cost

At the moment there is no cost for these workshops but this may change, so please do ask when enquiring.
