Council Services:

Your Commitment

In order to provide high quality interventions to Schools and Academies, partners spend significant amounts of time in the preparation and organisation of delivery. In order to ensure that high standards are maintained, interventions achieve positive outcomes and partner time is used effectively, we require education providers to adhere to a number of conditions and expectations. These are;

  • Pre discussion with the provider will take place prior to delivery to identify any specific issues they need to be aware of
  • A subject lead will ensure that the key messages delivered are disseminated within the school and integrated into other activity
  • Pupils unable to attend on the day receive appropriate materials and information given by the provider
  • A member of staff is present throughout the session delivered by the provider
  • A commitment that planned sessions will go ahead
  • Understand that a charge of £100 will be levied by the provider if your School/Academy cancels a session less than 24hrs prior to the agreed date
  • Completion by pupils and staff (where appropriate) of feedback mechanisms from the provider AND the online audit as provided by Virtual College /SSP
  • Booking of providers will only take place through the Stay Safe Partnership centralised booking system
